The Roach is Upside Down, but its legs are still moving

Life truly is a learning stage.
And the learning does not end when the heart stops (Ben would agree).
It is also true that from the most adverse situations, one can grow as a person, but it also applies to experiences that we take for granted, like saying “Hi”, there is a lot to be learned on a “Hi”, I of course leave you on a riddle with that.

The desire of transferring our learning’s earnings is one the most difficult challenges that I have come to face.
Telling, demonstrating, following up and re-starting all over again can get you as far as the recipient’s imagination, then there is the issue of interest. This knowledge that is so precious to you; is it as precious to the recipient? No. Never is.

If it is exciting, not only you learn, but you are also enlightened by whatever “it” is.
If is not exciting, you have also learned that your time on this stage would have better spent on something else, you become wiser as a result.

But once you become wiser and it serves you, aren’t we wasting a lot of that wisdom on dead end roads. Ever been there, in one of those? You barely missed the big amber sign and on the way back, not only you have learned something, but you also wasted as much by not transferring the event to the books of life.

This “community” as someone called it, (and rightly so) is one that diffuses its learning’s earnings and I just want to say that I appreciate everything that is shared in it.

From the abstract and spiritual artwork of Ben, to the barking, biting, loyal and sometimes playful K9’s charges. And in between there is the fountain of youth that is called Infinitesimal, with the complexity of Mad Malva, the observations of Bogs, laid out and served with salt and pepper on the side, and Aunty with the big house where everyone is welcomed, but you better not walk in when she is out of the property, and all the other beings that I come across every time that I am going up and down the blogland.

I am not trying to be nice, I am expressing what’s on my mind as usual, that is what I do here, that is what we all do is it not? Go ahead and miss the big amber sign, but tell us all about it.

Well, now...this heah is wise reflection. (SO glad ter see ya' bloggin' again!)

Darlin' thang, iffin' we didn't fear an apple gettin' thrown and stuck in our backs, like poor Gregor, mebbe we'd risk sharin' all our learnin's earnin's wif the community.

Always interested in what Mr. Q wants to tell us'uns about.

Q, you are catching on. Life is all about choices and consequences.

One of the best lines I heard on a TV drama, The Commish, was when he said to his son. "A fool keeps making the same mistake. The smart man learns from his mistake and doesn't make it again. A wise man learns from the mistakes of others."

You are gaining wisdom. Keep on Truckin'

How fitting...it is for me to have read this...having blogged' about teaching and learning and vice versa...

you made me just stop for a moment here...thinking back to the events that have transpired in my life for the past 3 years....significant happenings...and learnings...that started from one word....the word..."hi!"...that word can mean a lot of things...I can tell you stories about that word..."hi..."...but then again...it is more fitting to leave you "on a riddle with that"....

light...and deep....at the same time...totally asking for reflection...this is what your post here conveys...

wonderful read...

ive missed plenty of big amber signs but ive also dead ended into some adventures i would have never freely chosen. your posts are layered with intrigue.....and are like bittersweet chocolates.

the one thing i would share and it is of course a cliche is "be here now". very present in the moments, the way things look and sound, the light.....the tiny expression that crossed a face ever so briefly but oh so important.......you might have missed it if you were fogged in the regret of the past or starry eyed on the prizes of the future.

Q when i read you i get that funny sideways head turn like i hear a cosmic high pitch buzz in my ear, the philosphical qwords shake and bake my doggie brain insane. im just gonna smash that roach with a muddy paw and add it to the long list of debt i'll be paying for climbing over the chain link and going into dead end yards.

the good news is i left steaming hot browns in those yards to fossilize and forever lay as witness. listen lil pups if ye have floppy ears to hear.

thanks for your generous comment at SK9, it is I who is still spinning from our meeting...yes mysterious even more so are you. the conversation is unfinished and i hope to see a blue agave ritual in our future. red gator huh? doan know bout dat.

Mr. Q,
I realized recently that we have not been properly introduced. I am the crazy conspiracy guy from down the way. Was enjoying being the loon until my paranoid delusions started to manifest in reality. Now I'm just the naked guy in the sandwich board that reads "Doom is Nigh!" and as soon as I figure out what "Nigh" means I'll let you know. Love what you've done with your place.
I hear the Ladies they swoon at your face.
I thought it would be a disgrace
if I failed to rhyme in this case.
Swing by if you care for a taste.
of Doom's accelerating pace.

This post reminds me of those BRILLIANT genius ideas you get along with unedited perfect poetry and unwritten letters that mingle in your head just enough to make you go to sleep confident that you will awake and they will still be there for you.

But whenever i awake. i am just about as stupid as can be, and realize that they are gone forever... or perhaps filed away until i am eighty.

maybe that's what eighty-somethings think of as they smile quitely to themselves....

well anyways Mr. Q. top secret person.

I am so HAPPY that you are on this planet being human at this time.

Your brain needs fuel... i will try to post the thing i promised ben sometime soon. i think you will enjoy it. hope it will give you something to think about.

take care cherished friend.

see you here in the blogsphere.

mr q.
i think i've dropped by here once before, quite a long time ago. i don't know why i never flew by again - until now.

what possessed me to come by this evening i don't know.

but i see i've missed something. maybe that yellow sign. maybe that dead end. maybe a turn in the road. maybe a different pitch.

won't miss it again.
